Double award at the AMMAs!

Proud news: Roularta Media Group wins 2 silver AMMA Awards.

Roularta Media Group (RMG) once again stood out at the prestigious Annual Masters of Media Awards (AMMA’s), winning two silver awards for the second consecutive year. The media group, recognized for its leadership in sustainability and dominance in the magazine landscape, secured silver in the categories of Media Sustainability and Media Saleshouse of the Year.

There was great joy at the award ceremony on Thursday evening, June 6th, as Roularta Media Group received another Media Sustainability Award and also won an AMMA for Media Saleshouse of the Year.

This dual recognition underscores the media group's leadership in magazines, the strong relationships maintained by its advertising arm (Roularta Advertising) with the advertising market, and its numerous digital innovations.

Media Sustainability Award

Following its bronze award in 2022 for sustainability efforts, RMG reaffirmed its leadership in sustainable innovation in 2023. As a content provider, RMG and its strong media brands are committed to raising awareness and mobilizing partners and media consumers around sustainability issues, focusing on both brainprint (awareness) and reducing ecological footprint. Initiatives such as Knack's 'Maai-Mei-Niet', De Zondag's 'Brooddoosnodig', and the Trends Impact Awards exemplify these efforts.

In 2023, Roularta Advertising intensified its focus on sustainability themes among advertisers through seminars and the introduction of a sustainable advertising format: the 'paper wrap'.

Additionally, Roularta Printing, RMG's printing division, made sustainability investments of its own. New energy-efficient drying ovens contributed to a significant 14% reduction in CO2 emissions.

Media Saleshouse of the Year

In addition to the silver award for Media Sustainability, Roularta Advertising also clinched the prestigious silver AMMA award for Media Saleshouse of the Year. Central to their sales strategy for 2023 was the slogan "We make it personal," tailored specifically to four core segments: Luxury, News & Business, Women, and Health.

"A systematic, in-depth, and personalized approach has strengthened our leadership in the four core segments. We have focused heavily on large-scale surveys, cross-media packages, seminars, internal masterclasses, whitepapers, and targeted communications. This allows us to offer advertisers and agencies tailored opportunities to successfully convey their message. Our seminars reached over 500 marketers and media experts, with many continuing to consult our insights for their brand strategies."

This year, Roularta Advertising is heavily investing in branded content, aligning the strengths and DNA of their media brands with advertisers. The strategy has proven successful, with their market share experiencing significant growth once again this year.
